Great Western Trail: Kansas City loop — honest opinions

No shade to people who love it — I love Great Western Trail — but every time someone explains Kansas City looping like it's the most elegant thing since sliced bread I want to say buddy it's literally walking cows in a circle until numbers go up.

I've tried it, it works, I get why it's strong. I'm asking whether you actually find it fun to execute or if it's just the correct line so you do it.

Our group had a night where two people raced the loop and the table mood got weird. Not angry weird, just silent spreadsheet weird. Maybe that's on us.

If you avoid the loop on purpose for spice, what do you prioritize instead and do you still win sometimes or is that just cosplay.

Looping isnt an exploit its the tempo engine. If you hate it you might just dislike GWT lol

At 2p it feels more chessy. At 4p someone always forgets a hazard step and the loop player sails away

If your group has one AP player the loop strat feels miserable timewise. not a balance issue, a clock issue
