Heavy game burnout — how long is a healthy hiatus

I've run a monthly 'heavy night' for two years and lately I dread it — not because I dislike the games, but because my brain feels like a full hard drive after work.

I'll stare at Frosthaven on the shelf like it's a gym membership. Respect the beast, fear the setup.

For folks who hit burnout: how long did you step back before heavies felt fun again vs when you realized you should just downsize the collection?

I'm trying to tell the difference between temporary fatigue and 'you're actually a medium-weight gamer now, accept it.'

If you successfully came back after a break, what was the first heavy you rebooted with?

Thread cap at March 12 per my calendar — figured I'd post before I talk myself into listing everything on marketplace at 2am.

Burnout means you need different social energy not different cardboard. sometimes both
