Kemet: pyramid rush — fair or feel-bad

Buddy of mine went hard on pyramids game one while the rest of us were still reading power tiles like homework. By the time we looked up he had monsters on the table and that smug 'what' face.

I know Kemet is supposed to be aggressive — I'm not asking for a hug — but should first games slow down unlocks somehow or is the punch in the mouth part of the design?

Curious how you teach power tiles without analysis paralysis. We spent ten minutes per fight because everyone wanted to optimize the impossible.

If Book of the Dead changes this dynamic much, say so — I've been eyeing it but funds are finite.

Fair. Kemet is about tempo. if you let someone tier up uncontested thats on the table

If one player hits red tiles while others dither, game ends fast. working as intended
