Parks Nightfall: worth it if I mostly play solo?

I grabbed Parks on a whim last year and it's been my Sunday morning coffee game with the solo variant (yes I know that's not how trails work irl, leave me alone).

Nightfall keeps going on sale and I'm tempted, but I also don't want to turn a mellow nature vibe into spreadsheet night.

For people who added Nightfall: does it stay relaxing or does it become a totally different headspace? And is the solo scaling actually interesting or just harder for the sake of harder.

Not looking for 'just buy it' — my shelf is already judging me.

Nightfall adds crunch. If you like Parks for chill hikes maybe skip. If you want puzzle, yes

@thrift_gamer theres official solo mode in the box for base + i think nightfall expands it? double check rulebook pdf

I play solo vs a 'ghost hiker' house rule. not official but works. nightfall tiles are pretty at least lol

Buy it for the art, keep it for the brainburn. typical Keymaster tax
