My Partner Hates Conflict — What Can We Play Together?

My partner likes board games but absolutely cannot handle direct conflict. We tried Brass: Birmingham and they hated it.

We loved Patchwork and Jaipur. Looking for something with a bit more depth but still no "I attack you" moments. 2-player only. Help?

7 Wonders Duel has indirect competition — you're building your own thing but blocking sometimes. Might work depending on their threshold.

Wingspan at 2p is surprisingly good. You're basically playing in parallel with light interaction. Very cozy.
